Fernando Garcia

Architectural Technologist

Fernando Garcia is a Technologist whose work spans architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. He is fascinated by the way ideas move between designers, clients, consultants, builders, and the many other people who contribute to a project. Fernando sees his role as one of floating between these disciplines and stake holders, listening to different perspectives and helping translate them into something tangible. He enjoys the process of materializing ideas through drawings and seeing how putting an idea on paper can open the door to new questions, discoveries, and possibilities. To Fernando, drawings are more than a means of documenting a design—they are a shared language. Something that can be physically passed between people, allowing ideas to be communicated, understood, challenged, and developed together. It is this process of connecting people and perspectives through design that he finds most rewarding.
