Project Overview

The priority for Grey Eagle was to create strategic room improvements to ensure the hotel remains a premium and competitive hotel in Calgary. We first started with a detailed study on the feasibility of adjoining rooms, followed by the thoughtful redesign of 178 rooms, involving five distinct room types, including the prestigious Presidential Suites.

The main design goal was to create rooms that compete with premium chains like the J.W. Marriott, Fairmont, and The Westin. SA+D designed the rooms to maintain comfort, exude class and sophistication, and appeal to Grey Eagle’s diverse clientele. We incorporated stunning vistas of the Tsuut’ina lands featuring sweeping forest, rolling foothills, and weaving rivers.

These carefully curated upgrades not only elevate the guest experience but also solidify Grey Eagle Resort’s position as a top destination in Calgary’s hospitality scene.
